Jardins de Joan Maragall, Landscaped gardens on Montjuïc mountain in Barcelona, Spain.
The 3.63-hectare gardens contain ornamental ponds, sculptures, flower beds, and pathways lined with cypress trees, magnolias, and orange trees around Palauet Albéniz.
Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier and Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí designed these gardens for the 1929 Barcelona Universal Exposition, combining French and Mediterranean styles.
The gardens display 32 sculptures from different periods and artists, including works by Joan Rebull, Antoni Casamor, and Frederic Marès throughout the grounds.
Located behind Palau Nacional, visitors can access the gardens on weekends from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM through the main entrance on Avenida del Estadio.
The Palauet Albéniz within the gardens functions as the Spanish royal family residence during Barcelona visits and hosts municipal receptions.
