La Mola

The peak of La Mola rises to 1102 meters above sea level, featuring distinct geological formations of conglomerate, sandstone, and lutite materials.

The Sant Llorenç de Munt monastery, constructed at the beginning of the 11th century, stands at the mountain's summit as a testament to medieval architecture.

The mountain forms part of Sant Llorenç del Munt Natural Park, where local residents maintain hiking traditions through marked trails and organized activities.

Multiple hiking routes lead to the summit, with the Camí dels Monjos path offering a 6-kilometer track that takes approximately two and a half hours to complete.

The mountain restaurant at the peak receives its supplies through traditional mule transport, maintaining historical delivery methods in modern times.
