CaixaForum Lleida

CaixaForum Lleida occupies a modernist building at the intersection of Avinguda de Madrid and Avinguda de Blondel, serving as the city's arts center. The building contains multiple exhibition areas and various event spaces designed for different types of performances and presentations.

The building was originally built as the Cinema Viñes and was acquired in 1989 to be transformed into an arts center. The conversion by Fundación La Caixa made it a significant venue for cultural events and art exhibitions in Lleida.

The center displays contemporary artworks through rotating exhibitions and hosts an annual festival dedicated to Latin American cinema. This programming shapes the city's cultural life and draws art enthusiasts from across the region.

The center offers three separate event spaces, including a main auditorium with about 235 seats and two smaller halls with approximately 50 seats each. Visitors will find different rooms available depending on the type of event or exhibition they wish to attend.
