Santa María de La Vid, Premonstratensian monastery in La Vid y Barrios, Spain.
The monastery exhibits late Gothic architecture with a 33-meter Churrigueresque bell tower and contains two cloisters with star-shaped vaults and semi-circular arches.
Founded in 1146 by Domingo Gómez, the monastery relocated to its current location in 1152 through a land grant from King Alfonso VII of León and Castile.
The monastery houses a 13th-century image of Nuestra Señora de la Vid presiding over the Renaissance main altarpiece in the church building.
The monastery maintains a library with historical manuscripts and remains open from Tuesday to Sunday, operating under the administration of Augustinian monks since the 1860s.
The monastery contains a medieval manuscript that received special protection status as a Cultural Heritage Asset in October 1997.
