Iglesia de San Juan Bautista

Iglesia de San Juan Bautista is a parish church in Hinojosa del Duque featuring three naves separated by ten Romanesque pillars. The central nave is noticeably wider than the side ones, creating an open, spacious interior.

Construction of this church began in 1530 under architect Hernán Ruiz el Viejo and continued until 1571. His son took over the project in 1559 and guided the work to completion.
