Les Sitges de Burjassot, Underground grain storage complex in Burjassot, Spain.
The site contains 41 underground grain storage chambers arranged in a trapezoidal paved courtyard measuring seventy-five meters on each side.
Construction of these grain storage facilities began in 1573 to address Valencia's wheat supply issues, with additional units completed by 1806 under King Charles IV.
Each silo cover displays two engraved numbers indicating its sequence and capacity in cafissos, reflecting the measurement systems of historical Valencia.
The elevated limestone location of the silos maintains specific temperature conditions that proved essential for long-term grain preservation.
A Renaissance cross mounted on a central column marks the middle of the complex, accompanied by the Hermitage of Saint Roch and Virgin of Cabeça.
