Museo de Almería, Archaeological museum in central Almería, Spain.
The four-floor contemporary building displays regional archaeological collections, featuring artifacts from prehistoric settlements to Roman and Islamic periods.
The museum, established in 1934 with two rooms in the School of Arts and Crafts, reopened in 2006 in its current location.
The permanent exhibition includes interactive displays, burial reconstructions, and a central Stratigraphic Column presenting the historical sequence of local archaeological sites.
The museum opens Tuesday through Saturday from 09:00 to 21:00 and Sunday from 09:00 to 15:00, with free entry for European Union citizens.
A circular tomb area contains model skeletons arranged exactly as discovered, providing visitors direct insights into ancient burial practices.
