Platja de la Marineta Cassiana

Platja de la Marineta Cassiana is a sandy beach in Dénia stretching approximately 1 kilometer along the Mediterranean coast and measuring about 70 meters wide. The shore includes lifeguard stations, first aid facilities, adapted bathrooms for people with reduced mobility, and amphibious vehicles to assist visitors with accessibility needs.

The beach developed from a natural coastal formation next to Denia's harbor, which has functioned as a maritime gateway since ancient times through Mediterranean trade routes. Its transformation into a modern bathing beach is relatively recent, shaped by the existing port infrastructure nearby.
