Isuntza is a dark-sand beach in Lekeitio, Bizkaia, on the left bank of the Lea river where it meets the sea, next to the harbour and the town park. It measures 250 metres along the shore, covering 24,260 m² at low tide and 8,380 m² at high tide. The Empress Zita hotel stands beside it.

Lekeitio was a major whaling center during the Middle Ages, with Isuntza lying at the edge of this historic harbor. Fishing remained the foundation of the town's economy and identity for centuries.

The beach sits at the heart of Lekeitio's daily life, where swimmers, families, and local residents share the same stretch of sand and water. This blend of seaside leisure and town activity gives the place its particular character.
