Casa Torrents rises as a four-story modernist building with two circular towers and three facades, displaying symmetrical balconies and vertical outline windows.
The Torrents family, leaders in the Catalan textile industry, commissioned architect Ignasi Oms i Ponsa to construct this residence in 1908.
The structure exhibits the characteristics of Catalan modernist architecture through its neo-gothic elements, ceramic-scaled dome, and decorative overlays on the cornice.
The ground floor contains commercial spaces and includes an updated lobby with an elevator, while the upper floors maintain residential purposes.
Two identical staircases extend from the central foyer, leading to residences that preserve original modernist decorative elements from the early 20th century.
