Church of San Bizente Martiria-San Vicente Mártir, Donostia-San Sebastián, Gothic church in Old Town San Sebastián, Spain

The Church of San Vicente Mártir features three naves with a rectangular floor plan, high central nave, and four identical rose windows made of sandstone.

Construction of the church began in 1507 under stonemasons Miguel de Santa Celay and Juan de Urrutia, lasting until 1574 after a previous temple burned in 1489.

The central altarpiece, commissioned to Ambrosio de Bengoechea in 1583, represents one of the finest examples of Romanist style religious art in the region.

Located along the Northern Way of Saint James pilgrimage route, the church welcomes visitors Monday through Saturday from 17:00 to 20:30 and Sunday from 09:30 to 13:45.

The church houses a French organ built by Arístides Cavaille-Coll in 1868, which underwent recent restoration work in Nantes, France.
