La Doma

La Doma is a Romanesque and Gothic church in La Garriga with three interior naves, where the central aisle rises beneath a pointed vault. A bell tower stands at the eastern end, and the site includes a cemetery and adjacent buildings that form a complete religious complex.

The church first appears in written records in 966 during the feudal period in Catalonia. By the 16th century, a bell tower was constructed at the eastern side, reflecting changes in how the community used the religious space.

The church is dedicated to Saint Stephen, a figure that holds meaning in local religious traditions. Inside, the artworks reflect centuries of craftsmanship and artistic choices that shaped the community's visual heritage.
