Can Solleric

Can Solleric, also known as Casa Morell, is an arts centre and former manor house in central Palma with Baroque architecture and ornate stonework. The building contains exhibition spaces spread across multiple floors connected by a grand staircase.

The building began as a residence for a wealthy family in the 18th century. In the late 1990s it was converted into a municipal arts centre and opened to the public.

The arts centre hosts rotating exhibitions of contemporary art and photography created by local and international artists throughout the year. You can walk through different rooms and discover new works and installations each season.

The centre sits near Passeig del Born, a busy street with cafes and shops in the heart of Palma. Visitors can easily reach it on foot and explore the rooms at different times of day.

The name Casa Morell comes from a previous owner family and is often used alongside Can Solleric. This double name reflects the building's changes in ownership and its shifting role over time.
