Church of San Francisco Javier, Pamplona

The Church of San Francisco Javier is a Neo-Gothic building located in the Second Ensanche neighborhood with a prominent bell tower and sandstone exterior walls. The structure features a central rose window and was designed to hold a large congregation inside.

The building was constructed in the middle of the 20th century as a memorial to a Christian saint. Its completion coincided with an important religious anniversary that the community wanted to honor.

Inside you can see sculptures and murals depicting religious scenes and biblical figures created by local artists. These works shape how the space feels when you enter.

The baptistery holds a modern baptismal font shaped like a fish, a symbol with deep Christian meaning. The stained glass windows depicting the apostles were created by a notable glasswork studio.
