Sa Conca

Sa Conca is a small beach in Cadaqués stretching roughly 100 meters along the coast, with coarse golden sand mixed with pebbles underfoot. Natural rock formations create natural boundaries on either side, sheltering the cove from the surrounding coastline.

This beach is part of the Costa Brava, where fishing communities have maintained their maritime connection since medieval times. The cove served as a sheltered anchorage point in the region's seafaring past.

Local residents practice naturism at this shoreline, continuing a Mediterranean custom that emerged during the 1960s social movements.

The beach is reachable via a nearby parking area or a short walk from Cadaqués town center, with restaurants and amenities within easy distance. The terrain is straightforward to navigate, though the rocky formations require some care when entering the water.

The water deepens rapidly from the shoreline toward open sea, creating distinct conditions compared to other nearby beaches. This steep drop-off is favored by stronger swimmers and those interested in exploring underwater areas.
