Platja de Sa Riera

Platja de Sa Riera is a sheltered cove with soft sand bordered by tall rocky cliffs along the Costa Brava. The narrow bay has calm, clear water that stays shallow near the shore, making it easy to wade in.

The name comes from an ancient watercourse that once flowed through the area and helped shape the bay's structure. This natural feature has kept the beach relatively unchanged over many centuries.

You reach the beach by walking down a narrow path from the village, passing between homes and cliff faces. Basic facilities including showers, restrooms, and equipment rentals are available to keep you comfortable during your stay.

When the tide goes out, small rock pools form in the crevices between cliffs, creating shallow basins perfect for kids to explore. Few visitors know about these hidden pools that only appear at low tide.
