Cala Pi, White sand beach and cove in Llucmajor, Spain
The 45-meter-long sandy beach stretches between high cliffs covered with Mediterranean vegetation, forming a natural inlet of 140 meters in width.
The ancient cove served as a natural harbor for local fishermen throughout centuries, with remnants of defensive structures still visible along its cliffs.
Local restaurants at the top of the cove introduce visitors to traditional Mallorcan seafood dishes prepared with fresh catches from neighboring waters.
Visitors need to descend a long staircase to reach the beach, where they can find basic facilities including showers, restrooms, and a seasonal beach kiosk.
The beach transitions from shallow waters at the shore to deep sections near the back, where a natural stream flows into the Mediterranean Sea.

To the north, the s'Albufera natural park conserves 4,200 acres (1,700 hectares) of wetlands hosting over 250 species of migratory birds.
