The maritime structure has maintained safe navigation for vessels entering and departing the Mediterranean port of Ibiza since its construction.
Local fishermen continue their generations-old tradition of using the lighthouse as a reference point when returning from their daily fishing expeditions.
Located at coordinates 38°54'38.916"N and 1°26'33.958"E, the lighthouse reaches 12 meters in height with a visibility range of 3 nautical miles.
The Port Authority of Balearic Islands invested substantial resources in 2023 to upgrade the lighthouse infrastructure and surrounding urban elements.
