The structure, built in 1900 as a textile factory, underwent transformation in 2009 to become the Biblioteca Poblenou-Manuel Arranz while preserving its industrial heritage.
The library maintains collections focused on Catalan traditions, including documentation about Castellers, Sardanas, and an extensive selection of traditional music recordings.
Located at Joncar 35, the facility provides an event hall for 110 people, study rooms, and digital resources with internet access for research purposes.
The building houses the Centre d'Imatgeria Festiva de Sant Martí, displaying traditional Catalan parade figures within its industrial masonry walls.
