Sibbo Old Church

Saint Sigfrid's Church displays stone walls and vaults adorned with 15th-century paintings created using earth pigment and charcoal coloring techniques.

Built in the 1450s under the direction of the Master of Pernå, this stone structure represents a distinct variation from standard medieval church architecture in Finland.

The church interior contains a preserved pillory and a set of stocks from the 17th and 18th centuries, reflecting historical disciplinary practices.

Located at Brobölentie 68, the church maintains regular visiting hours during summer months and serves as an active religious site for ceremonies.

The altar section features an unusual three-part design, while the remainder of the church follows a traditional two-section layout pattern.
