Majakka

Majakka is a residential tower in the Kalasatama district on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. The building rises 134 meters across 35 floors and holds 282 apartments for different household types.

Construction started in 2016 and finished in November 2019, introducing vertical apartment living to Finland. The project represented a shift in the country's building traditions toward taller residential structures.

The building represents a shift in Finnish urban living patterns, introducing high-rise residential solutions in a country traditionally focused on lower structures.

The building offers hotel-style lobby service and a wide range of shared amenities for residents. You will find saunas, outdoor terraces, a summer kitchen, a gym, and dedicated bicycle maintenance areas throughout the property.

The building uses clever design positioning so that residents on lower floors can still enjoy views toward the water. This thoughtful approach makes the most of the limited waterfront space available to the development.
