Allas Sea Pool

This marine spa features three outdoor pools directly on the Baltic Sea, including a warm pool heated to 81 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius), a cold seawater pool at about 45 degrees Fahrenheit (7 degrees Celsius), and a children's pool available during summer months, along with five saunas offering views of the water.

The facility opened on September 1, 2016, on the former site of the Kanavaterminaali building, with one of its pools constructed at Teijo docks in Salo and transported by sea to Helsinki in less than a day during the construction process.

The spa promotes traditional Finnish wellness practices such as ice swimming and sauna bathing, which are associated with health and community bonding, while hosting open-air concerts and cultural events during summer evenings that attract both residents and visitors.

Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and weekends from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with year-round accessibility, and the location near Market Square at Katajanokanlaituri 2a provides convenient access via public transportation.

Visitors can experience swimming in heated pools surrounded by snow and ice during winter months, combining outdoor bathing with panoramic views of Helsinki's waterfront and the opportunity to enjoy dining at the Seagrill restaurant or drinks at the Sky Bar on the rooftop terrace.
