Broderie de Fontenoy-le-Château

The museum displays a collection of white embroidery pieces, traditional textile equipment, and artisanal crafts from the Vosges region.

Established in 1979, this institution preserves the local textile heritage and metalworking traditions that shaped the development of Fontenoy-le-Château.

The museum organizes exhibitions, such as 'De si jolies culottes', presenting previously undisplayed embroidery works to educate visitors about textile arts.

During summer season, guided tours and special programs are available, with the museum recording approximately 800 visitors during the 2022 season.

This is the only museum in France dedicated to white embroidery, featuring specialized collections and demonstrations of this particular textile technique.
