Château d'Oyé, Medieval castle in Oyé, France.

The castle features a rectangular main building with two round towers topped by conical roofs and an octagonal staircase tower at the end.

The Oyé barony belonged to the lords of Semur in the 11th century before passing to the Luzy family in the 13th century.

The main door of the staircase tower displays carved coats of arms in the tympanum, crowned by an ogee gable between two pinnacles.

The castle stands in the Saône-et-Loire department of Burgundy-Franche-Comté, one hour from Lyon and the A6 motorway.

The castle windows feature different lintels and some have molded frames that demonstrate architectural styles from the 15th and 16th centuries.
