Domaine des Saveurs – Les Planons, Food heritage museum in Saint-Cyr-sur-Menthon, France.
The museum complex encompasses 22 hectares featuring a traditional Bresse farm with a pyramid-shaped sarsen chimney and 3,000 square meters of exhibition space.
Established in 1995, the museum received the prestigious Musée de France designation in 2003 and maintains structures that date back to the 15th century.
The Archeblanc, situated near the kitchen fireplace, functions as a central gathering space where families conducted important social arrangements and celebrations.
The museum operates from March through November, remaining closed on Tuesdays, with entry fees of 7 euros for adults and 4 euros for students.
The museum displays the complete reconstruction of a 1784 Bresse farm interior, featuring traditional architectural elements and rammed earth construction techniques.
