Musée du Faouët

The museum occupies a former Ursuline convent and maintains a collection of 400 works including paintings, drawings, and engravings from regional artists.

The museum collection originated in 1913 through Deputy Mayor Victor Robic's initiative, leading to its official inauguration in 1987 within the centuries-old building.

The institution received the designation of Museum of France in 2012, recognizing its role in preserving and presenting Brittany's artistic heritage.

The museum operates from April to October, offering guided tours, workshops, and conferences with admission fees of 6 euros for adults and 3 euros reduced rate.

Each year, the museum organizes specialized exhibitions focused on Breton pictorial themes or individual artists who drew inspiration from Le Faouët.
