Parc du Vivier, Public park in Écully, France

Parc du Vivier encompasses 10 hectares of landscaped grounds with cedar trees, oaks, plane trees, poplars, and magnolias throughout the property.

The park contains a chartreuse constructed between 1780 and 1790, which served as the Ministry of Air headquarters during the French government's relocation in 1940.

The former castle within the park now functions as a restaurant for the Institut Paul-Bocuse and hosts various canine exhibitions throughout the year.

Visitors can access six tennis courts, including one clay court with winter coverage, plus two certified Lyon-style bowling grounds and five petanque fields.

The park maintains a growing population of peacocks that have established themselves as recognized residents since their initial introduction to the grounds.
