Federal Equestrian Park, Equestrian center in Lamotte-Beuvron, France.
The Federal Equestrian Park is a horse sports center in Lamotte-Beuvron, in the Loire Valley region of France, with several outdoor and indoor arenas, stables, and dedicated training areas. The site is set up to host both high-level competitions and everyday training sessions across multiple disciplines, including show jumping, dressage, and eventing.
The site opened in 1994 under the name National Equestrian Park, built to give French equestrian sport a dedicated national center. In 1999, management passed to the French Equestrian Federation, which renamed it and took charge of its development.
The park sits in Lamotte-Beuvron, a town in the Sologne region long tied to horse breeding and rural traditions. On training days, visitors can watch riders working closely with their horses in the open arenas.
The grounds are spread out, so wearing comfortable shoes makes it easier to move between the arenas and stables. Coming on a competition day gives a better sense of how the place works, as more areas are in use.
The park is one of the few places in Europe where amateur and professional riders train on the same grounds, often at the same time. Arriving early in the morning gives a chance to watch training sessions that take place well before any competition begins.
