Sainte-Chapelle de Vincennes, Gothic chapel in Château de Vincennes, France.

The chapel features 1113 stained glass windows, high vaulted ceilings, and stone walls that reflect medieval French architectural expertise.

Charles V of France ordered the construction of this chapel in 1379, though its completion extended until 1552 under the reign of Henry II.

The chapel was built to house religious relics of the Passion of Christ and served as a place of worship for French royalty.

Visitors can purchase entrance tickets for 13 euros, while European Union residents under 26 years old receive free admission.

The chapel contains Renaissance period stained glass windows installed between 1551 and 1559, depicting biblical narratives through colored light patterns.
