Château d'Apremont, Arthel, Historic castle in Arthel, France.

The castle features a northwest tower from 1584 and contains multiple rooms with preserved eighteenth-century decorations and fireplaces.

In 1722, French State Counselor François Guynet ordered the construction of the current building to replace an ancient fortress in ruins.

The entrance porch displays ornate wrought iron work decorated with the arms and crown of the Marquis of Arthel.

The property includes five terraces and a vegetable garden, all enclosed by walls dating from the eighteenth century.

The castle sits within a dry moat and contains decorated chambers from the 1700s that are now registered as French Historical Monuments.
