Parc Spirou is an amusement park in Monteux, France, that centers on French comic book characters and their adventures. The grounds hold roller coasters, digital simulators, and family rides spread across several themed zones.
The park opened in June 2018 and recorded around 120,000 visitors in its first year. Attendance climbed to roughly 270,000 by 2019.
The rides draw on characters from French comics, including Western backdrops from Lucky Luke and mechanical inventions by Gaston Lagaffe. Visitors encounter Marsupilami figures and other heroes who have been popular in France for decades.
Parking lots, picnic zones, and restaurants are available, and a mobile app displays current waiting times for rides. Comfortable shoes help when walking the grounds, as paths between attractions can run several hundred meters.
The Zombillenium Tower offers free-fall rides where passengers drop without visible floor control. The Marsu Jungle zone guides visitors through tropical backdrops with animated Marsupilami figures hidden in dense foliage.
