Château de Dampierre, Historic château in Dampierre, France.

The château features a stone building stretching 40 meters in length with a Mansard roof decorated with dormers and ornamental vases.

The first lord of the castle was Hildevent in 980, leading to centuries of ownership through noble families until Louis Picot acquired it in the 16th century.

The architectural design of François Mansart incorporates French Baroque elements with classical proportions, reflecting the refined tastes of French nobility.

Located in the Aube department of France, the château opens its doors to visitors during July and September with musical events throughout the season.

A monumental wrought iron gate from the School of Nancy marks the entrance, similar to the craftsmanship found at the Town Hall of Troyes.
