Église Sainte-Croix de Bernay, Medieval church in Bernay, France.

Église Sainte-Croix de Bernay is a medieval church laid out in a Latin cross pattern with three naves that extend from a central crossing. A circular tower stands on the north side, while the south side features a square bell tower rising in four distinct levels.

Construction began in 1374 when the choir and transept were built, completing the 14th century phase of work. The nave followed later and was finished during the 15th century.

The church displays sixteen statues of apostles and evangelists that once belonged to Bec Abbey. These carved figures remain visible to visitors exploring the interior today.

The building is located at 90 Rue Thiers in Bernay, surrounded by other historical landmarks throughout the town. Visitors can explore this site as part of a broader walk through the historic center.

A hurricane in 1687 damaged the bell tower's spire, which collapsed onto the nave below. This storm caused significant structural harm that required later restoration work.
