Construction occurred in two distinct phases, with an initial section built in granite during the 17th century and a second phase using cut stone in the 18th century.
The entrance gateway displays a truncated pediment supported by decorated pilasters, demonstrating the decorative techniques of French regional architecture.
The facades and roofs of the castle, protected since May 28, 1979, remain closed to visitors as the property maintains private ownership status.
The facade incorporates windows with curved lintels typical of the late 18th century and continuous rustication around the main entrance door.
