The château features brick construction with symmetrical wings, grand courtyard, and ornate iron gates framed by substantial outbuildings arranged in right angles.
Pierre Duval, director of the Rouen Mint, commissioned the construction of this classical château between 1720 and 1730 as his residence.
The estate includes preserved interior designs, formal gardens, and calculated visual perspectives connecting to both Vimont Chapel and Morgny-la-Pommeraye Church.
The monument received heritage protection status in 1975 for its facades and roofs, with additional protections granted for interior elements in 2001.
The property maintains its original orangery, dovecote, and farm buildings, forming a complete 18th-century agricultural and residential complex.
