Hôtel de la Bourse, Private mansion in La Rochelle, France.

The Hotel de la Bourse features two wings connected by a columned gallery that frames an interior courtyard with a compass rose pattern.

Built in 1760 according to architect Pierre Mathieu René Hue's plans, this mansion replaced a previous consular jurisdiction building destroyed by fire.

The facade decorations include maritime symbols such as anchors, oars, and sextants, reflecting La Rochelle's strong connection to naval commerce.

Located on Rue du Palais, the building currently houses the commercial court of La Rochelle and maintains restricted public access.

The interior courtyard displays intricate bas-reliefs celebrating maritime trade, with detailed nautical instruments carved into the stone decorations.
