Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls is a tiered cascade near Kottayam, in Kerala, where water flows down forested rock slopes bordered by rubber and coconut plantations. The water drops in several stages before reaching flatter ground at the base.
The area around the falls has been part of the local landscape for generations and was used by surrounding communities long before it became a visited spot. Over time, a church was built at the top of the cascade, reflecting the gradual changes the region went through.
