Austrian Parliament Building, Parliament building in Innere Stadt, Austria
The Parliament Building includes two chamber halls connected by a large door, where the National Council and Federal Council hold their sessions.
Construction began in 1874 under Emperor Franz Joseph's reign, taking ten years to complete before becoming the Imperial Council's meeting place.
The Greek Revival architecture features marble statues of Athena and Nike at the front fountain, representing wisdom and legislative authority.
Visitors can reach the building at Dr. Karl-Renner-Ring using the U3 subway to Volkstheater or U2 to Rathaus stations.
The structure contains more than 1,600 rooms across 13,500 square meters, making it among the largest buildings on Vienna's Ringstrasse.
