Klosterkirche Maria Immaculata, Monastery and church building in Floridsdorf, Austria.
The Klosterkirche Maria Immaculata is a Neo-Gothic brick church with a two-nave layout at Anton-Böck-Gasse 16 in the Strebersdorf district. The building houses an organ from 1963 and bells from 1951.
Construction of the monastery complex started in 1887 after the School Brothers acquired the former Strebersdorf Castle. The bell tower was completed in 1925.
The interior displays ceiling paintings showing Rosary scenes and a sandstone relief by sculptor Ludwig Schadler above the main entrance from 1922. These works shape how the church looks and feels when you visit.
The church is open for regular Catholic services and offers accessible entry to the building. Visitors can explore the interior and exterior architecture at their own pace.
The building connects structurally to the western side of a former castle, merging religious architecture with elements of a historical noble residence. This connection shapes the overall ensemble.
