Beethoven-Haus

The Beethoven-Haus in Gneixendorf is a residential building where the composer lived for a period and which preserves his personal spaces. The second floor displays four living rooms and a special room with historical objects connected to his life.

The composer spent two months here in 1826 while caring for a close relative in difficult circumstances. This stay was brief but marked one of his final visits outside the city.
