Schloss Walpersdorf, Renaissance castle in Inzersdorf-Getzersdorf, Austria.

Schloss Walpersdorf is a Renaissance castle in Inzersdorf-Getzersdorf set within extensive grounds and featuring distinctive architectural elements such as vaulted ceilings, columned rooms, and a grand banquet hall built in 1670. The building contains multiple event spaces designed to accommodate different types of gatherings.

Hans Ulrich von Ludmanstorf initiated construction in 1571, and Helmhard VIII Freiherr von Jörger completed the structure in 1619 during the Renaissance period. The castle passed through different hands over the centuries, each ownership leaving its mark on the building's character.

The castle chapel was transformed into a Catholic place of worship under Empress Eleonora Gonzaga's ownership. This change reflects how the building served as a site of faith during times of religious upheaval.

The castle offers suitable conditions for various events, and visitors should plan ahead to understand the available spaces and their capacities. The location is easily accessible from outside and provides ample room for different activities and gatherings.

Count Georg Ludwig von Sinzendorf operated one of Austria's earliest silk factories within the castle's knight's hall. This innovative use transformed a traditional noble residence into a production site, highlighting the building's economic importance beyond its residential role.
