The Steinhaus Domenig extends across five floors with 850 square meters of living space, featuring a steel-glass construction and a central gorge design element.
Architect Günther Domenig designed and built this residential structure between 1982 and 2008 on his private waterfront property near Lake Ossiach.
The building represents contemporary Austrian architecture through its integration of natural elements, including stone formations, water features, and surrounding landscapes.
Visitors can explore the interior through guided tours from Wednesday to Sunday, between 10 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM.
A glass water column at the center of the building displays groundwater levels, while concrete pylons extend two stories below ground level.
