Луполовский лагерь смерти

The Lupolovsky camp memorial in Mogilev is a remembrance site dedicated to a prisoner-of-war camp that operated from 1941 to 1943 in this location. The complex includes stone monuments and sculptural elements that mark where thousands of people were imprisoned and died during the Nazi occupation.

The camp was established in 1941 following the German invasion and operated until 1943, serving as a prison for Soviet soldiers. After the city's liberation by Soviet forces, memorial structures were erected to honor those who perished there.

The memorial ground includes multiple mass graves of Soviet soldiers who died during the liberation battles of Mogilev in 1944.

A bronze sculpture of a kneeling soldier was installed in the years following the war and stands as one of the earliest elements commemorating this location. It was added when memory of the fallen was still fresh in the minds of survivors.
