Papineau is a federal electoral district in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, covering roughly 10 square kilometers. The district includes the neighborhoods of Villeray, Park Extension and parts of Saint-Michel in the northern section of the city.
The district was created in 2003 following a redrawing of electoral boundaries, replacing earlier areas such as Papineau-Saint-Denis. This change aimed to better reflect the growing population in the northern city neighborhoods.

Polling stations open during federal elections at different schools and community centers across the district. Staff provide assistance in several languages and ensure that all voters have access to ballot papers.
The electoral district ranks among the smallest in all of Canada by area and is second only to Toronto Centre. Despite its small size, it is home to a large number of residents living close together.
