The Calvin Auditory stands next to Saint Pierre Cathedral, featuring Gothic architecture with ten modern stained glass windows created between 2004 and 2007.
Originally constructed as Notre-Dame-la-Neuve Chapel in the 15th century, the building transformed into a Protestant lecture hall under Jean Calvin's direction in 1536.
The building serves multiple Protestant congregations, offering services in French, English, Dutch, German, Italian, and Latin throughout the week.
Visitors can access the Calvin Auditory through Place de la Taconnerie, with self-guided tours available through mobile applications.
The structure housed the first location of the University of Geneva in 1559 and provided sanctuary for Protestant refugees from across Europe.
