Brunswick Monument, Marble mausoleum in Jardin des Alpes, Switzerland.

The Brunswick Monument features white marble across three levels, with a hexagonal canopy protecting a sarcophagus containing the duke's remains.

Charles II of Brunswick bequeathed his fortune to Geneva in 1873, requiring the city to construct this monument as a replica of Verona's Scaliger Tombs.

The monument displays six marble statues representing ancestors of the House of Guelph, alongside marble lions and chimeras guarding the structure.

Located on Quai du Mont-Blanc, the mausoleum stands on a platform measuring 65 meters in length and 25 meters in width.

The original bronze equestrian statue at the spire's top moved to an adjacent plinth in 1883 due to earthquake damage.
