Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Episcopal church building near Place des Alpes, Geneva, Switzerland

The stone building features stained glass windows with intricate designs, including an exceptional East window depicting Christ in two different representations.

Former United States President Ulysses S. Grant laid the foundation stone of Emmanuel Episcopal Church on July 27, 1877, marking its establishment in Geneva.

The congregation represents Geneva's international character, with 45 percent of members from the United States and others from various Protestant and Catholic backgrounds.

Services occur twice on Sundays at 8:30 and 10:30, with the later service offering both in-person attendance and live streaming options for remote participants.

The church structure contains unconventional architectural elements, including an inverted pentagram on the pediment and grouped lamp arrangements in the parish hall.
