Wittigkofen Castle

Wittigkofen is a castle made up of several buildings connected by a timber-framed wing that blends medieval and Baroque design features. The structure shows how construction evolved over different time periods.

A fire in 1580 destroyed the original medieval structure, leading to the construction of a new pleasure house with a tower design. This transformation shaped the estate's appearance for centuries to come.
