Town Hall

Ayuntamiento is a Renaissance town hall in Lucerne featuring a steep roof, decorated stone archways, and a prominent clock on its main facade facing the river. The interior houses decorative chambers with historic furnishings and painted wooden ceilings that reflect the building's period character.

Construction took place between 1602 and 1606, establishing it immediately as a council meeting place and administrative hub for the city. This period in the early modern era made it a focal point of urban governance.
