LivrÉchange, Intercultural library in Fribourg, Switzerland.
LivrÉchange provides access to an extensive collection of books and educational materials in 265 different languages from Albanian to Vietnamese.
The library opened its doors in 2002 as a cultural center dedicated to promoting multilingual literacy and community engagement in Fribourg.
The library organizes regular storytelling festivals, literary evenings, conferences, and exhibitions that showcase the diversity of languages and traditions.
Located at Avenue du Midi 3-7, the library welcomes group visits and school classes by appointment and offers language learning resources.
The Swiss government supports international volunteers aged 18 to 30 to work at the library through the European Voluntary Service program.
